| 39 weeks {sorry, no picture from K to compare} |
Maternity Clothes: The less clothes the better these days, as I am burning up almost constantly! Thank goodness I don't have to be pregnant all summer!
Sleep: Okay, but still have to sleep on the wedge and take a Tums prior to bedtime for heartburn. If I wake up, I usually have to go potty.
Best Moment of the Week: This is outside of the pregnancy, but Kherington has been using her potty pretty consistently for both #1 and #2. Jared and I had both accepted she was not ready, but she has been asking so we have been embracing and helping her. We are SO proud of her. She is becoming such a big girl. We both have an expectation that she may regress once baby brother or sister arrives, but are hoping not and going with it for now! They are also helping at school to reinforce so hopefully that helps too!
Worst Moment of the Week: The doctor not being able to find the baby's heartbeat. I am sure this was only for a minute but it seemed like an eternity.
Movement: The baby seems to have really active days and "sleepy" days. But overall movement is good. Self-admittedly I am more aware of this baby's movement then I ever was with K.
Food Cravings: Nothing really. I prefer to snack than to eat meals.
Food Aversions: Can't think of anything.
Symptoms: Some feet swelling in the evenings, heartburn, pelvic pressure, hip pain when getting out of bed. Overall, feeling good in the home stretch.
Gender: Dr. Leone guessed girl yesterday as the baby was being difficult with finding the heartbeat. But who knows. Don't forget, you can make your guess here!
Names: Still going with Elliana Hope or Cayden Michael.
Labor Signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks and some real contractions. Last week was the closest I thought to go time, with regular contractions for about an hour, but then that ceased.
Belly Button: I am just pretending I don't have a belly button as it is a gross outie, but mostly just sticks out on top. Still don't have a line or stretch marks so I'm trying to see the glass half full!
What I Miss: The ability to move freely, stand up easily, put on socks, etc.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Meeting this sweet baby!
