| 38 weeks with K Apparently 38 weeks just makes for bad pictures :) |
Maternity Clothes: Still able to find some things that fit me as far as maternity clothes go, although the pumpkin feels pretty accurate. I have been blinding some with my white legs in shorts, but Mama doesn't care. It's been warm!
Sleep: Still okay as long as I take a Tums before bed and sleep on the wedge.
Best Moment of the Week: This week was pretty boring, but I'd have to say my hospital tour with Jared and Jenny {doula}. We are all good to go, whenever this baby decides it's go time.
Worst Moment of the Week: I've had some swelling in my ankles and hands.
Movement: This baby is back to being crazy. Although, it feels like it's dropped, as the punches seem awfully low sometimes!
Food Cravings: As typical, nothing really.
Food Aversions: Can't think of anything.
Symptoms: Swelling as I've previously mentioned, heartburn, leg cramping, feeling like a whale, etc.
Gender: Seems to be that the consensus is leaning towards boy, but we shall see! Don't forget, you can make your guess here if you haven't already!
Names: Elliana Hope or Cayden Michael
Labor Signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks and some serious contractions as well. Nothing too serious or consistent. I'm a little afraid that I won't pay attention close enough to contractions until it is far along in the process, as if they don't hurt, I don't pay attention to them.
Belly Button: Still lovely like last week, but I'm still being an optimist as the line has not appeared yet!
What I Miss: Chewing gum - can't wait! And putting on my pants/shorts/socks easily.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Meeting this baby. Until this week I was having slight panic about the whole birth process, as I know what to expect this time around. Thanks to Jenny, as she put it in great perspective that I have the opportunity to {not have to} give birth again. I can't wait to meet this little one!!
