Total Weight Gain: I have gained 9 pounds so far, which is a few more than this point with K. I kind of expect this, as I do not have the time or ability most mornings with Jared's travel schedule and my work schedule to get up and walk like I did with K. Guess it's time to start hitting the walking workstation more often at work. Although, I do chase that tiny tyrant around in the evenings which I did not have to privilege of doing with K, for obvious reasons!
Maternity Clothes: Still in them, no surprise here. I can't wait to wear pants without an elastic waistband. More motivation to hit the treadmill.
Sleep: Still okay, although if I do wake for some reason, it hits me that I could use the bathroom.
Best Moment of the Week: Feeling the baby have hiccups for the first time and hearing the heartbeat - my doctor's appointment got moved due to Dr. N having a C-section to perform during my last scheduled appointment. The baby hates the doppler and moves around like crazy. She said things looked great with my ultrasound. She said the baby was measuring in the 15% percentile overall, but not to be concerned, just we are not going to have a big baby. And our baby's down syndrome chances were 1 in 3200 based off the ultrasound, which for some reason, I didn't ask, but I think is pretty normal.
Worst Moment of the Week: Reading a story about a friend of a family member who lost her twins at 19 weeks. Such a terrible thing, and instantly took me back to July. With our angel's due date approaching, it stings a little more.
Movement: All the time. This little guy/gal is a mover! I think it's confused that my bladder is really not a trampoline.
Food Cravings: Fish in the evenings - weird I know. During the day, still breakfast.
Food Aversions: Chicken more than anything.
Symptoms: The most recent addition to my list is acne - picture high school puberty breakouts. Awesome! My hip pain has been more manageable, but my wrists seem to hurt more often. Still need to get those braces to sleep in {which the doctor recommended two months ago.} Been having some lower back pain, but think its from some little girl wanting "up" more often than not.
Gender: One or the other.
Names: Still going with Elliana Hope or Caiden Michael
Labor Signs: No sir.
Belly Button: Still present, although becoming more shallow.
What I Miss: Putting on socks with no problem. Still able to do it, but just a little more challenging. If it would just stop snowing and warm up, I wouldn't have to worry about it!
What I'm Looking Forward To: My next doctor's appointment on February 19th! What a wonderful birthday gift!!
