Kherington {44 months}

44 months
Not thrilled
Kherington has been so much fun while being challenging this past month.  She says the cutest, funniest, and most intriguing things.  It is really fun to watch and listen to how her little mind works.  She also is full-force into learning the rules and challenging them.  For the most part we do okay, but if she is tired, it becomes more and more difficult.
Ellie - her most favorite person
I thought it might be fun to highlight some of K's likes and dislikes at this stage in the game:
Likes:
Ellie - these two are the best of friends 98% of the time :)
K, Mara, and Katie
Friends: Mara, Katie, and Sophia are her "best friends" {most days}
Cousin Madie {these two melt my heart when they're together}
Fruit and veggies are still on K's list of foods
Routines
Things going her way :)
Loves her some sunglasses
Necklaces are a must
Dresses and accessories

This girl loves a good pair of rain boots
Boots
Pink and purple
Cinderella and Pocahontas
Peppa Pig {who introduced this??}
Helping fold and put away laundry
Helping feed Berlin and let her in and out
Putting in new trash bags
I think all of our tuition money goes towards buying new crayons and markers for this one
Such focus
Arts and crafts
Brushing and flossing her teeth

Dislikes:
Meat is still a hit or miss.  She will eat, sausage, pepperoni, deli turkey and chicken nuggets but does not really like chicken, pork or steak.
Being rushed into a decision
Being thrown off of a routine or what is "expected"
Little Bo Peep and her sheep at the Goddard Halloween bash
She wanted her face painted...who I am I to say no

Sharpies at the age of 3 ... whose idea was that?
K was so much fun for Halloween and got lots of compliments on her Little Bo Peep costume.  This was the first year we truly trick-or-treated, which she enjoyed a lot.  We just walked up and down the street.  She was a little shy, but she did a great job and got a whole basket of candy.  We were also able to enjoy wearing her costume for a neighbor's annual party, Boo at the Zoo, and the Goddard Ice Scream Social in addition to Halloween itself.

K unfortunately fell victim {the third Roberts family member} to the stomach flu.  She was so pitiful and could not stop vomiting for several hours.  Luckily it was somewhat short lived.  I would gladly take being sick versus the girls being sick.  They are so sad and pitiful.  K and I had an extra "stay home day" which consisted of being lazy, going to lunch, getting our toenails painted, and taking a nap on the couch.  It was a good day to spend just the two of us, and especially as I became the fourth victim that next evening!
