Elliana at 7 months

Loving life at 7 months
Ellie bug is now seven months old.  We are on the downhill side to one.  If I dwell on this fact for any amount of time, tears well up in my eyes.  Our baby is growing up!
Love those sweet cheeks and chubby thighs!
Such the pouty face with bananas leaking out
She now weighs 17 lbs, 8.5 oz and is 27 inches tall.  She is solidly in 6-9 month clothes.  She is in size three diapers for day and night.  She wore a pair of shoes this month { :) } and is in a size 1.
Oh ... My ... Goodness!  *Heart be still*
Hanging out with Aunt Sarah on New Years Day
Love this smile so much
Bright big eyes
That hair ....
I seriously don't think she could be {read her shirt}
Is it too soon for a haircut?
She still has those beautiful baby blues and her hair continues to grow and lighten.
Two little chompers
We are still only sporting those two bottom teeth, and no outwardly signs of those top chompers yet.  Which this Mama is A-okay with!
"Ahhh!!!"
Telling Uncle Brad all about it
Little chatter box
Elliana has began mouthing "mama" but puts no air behind it, so no words come out.  Little stinker!!  Maybe next month we'll have progress on this front!!

A rare moment

Despite the picture above, Ellie hates her carseat.  Poor thing.  I think part of it, at least when I pick her up is that she is on the verge of being hungry, then she sees me and realizes "Mama has food and I want it NOW!"
Giggling with Nana
Ellie bug has become so ticklish this month.  Especially under her arms, her shoulders, and her little feet.  Love that sweet little belly laugh that follows!

Such a big girl watching sis
Happy girl at school
She doesn't care who holds her, just as long as someone is paying attention
#secondchildproblems
Love her little happy personality
Caught ya!
Nana loves you Ellie bug
Uncle Rick got to meet her when he was visiting from California
Conked out!
She continues to be such a good baby.  Although, this month we saw a very grumpy side of our sweet girl.  During the night on Christmas, poor Ellie developed a right ear infection.  We were up half of the night with a very grumpy {aka screaming} and feverish baby.  We were just trying to get to 8 am, when the walk-in hours began, as the nurse told us they couldn't get in for a scheduled appointment until 2 pm - wasn't going to happen.  We started amoxicillin that day.  Elliana proved to be quite a challenge when it comes to taking medicine.  She would raspberry it back at you, gag, spit, choke, cry, be a drama queen about it.
Poor baby
Unfortunately, it got worse before getting better
Fast forward a week and Ellie was broken out in a rash.  We skipped the morning dose, but it didn't seem to help, only worsening.  I proceeded to take her in to be seen again.  They thought it could be a reaction, in addition to some Eczema, but either way her ear infection was not clearing up.  They switched her to Omnicef, which seems to be doing the trick.
Crawling around in the loft {don't mind the spit up-gross}
Such a busy bee at school
Checking out cousin Madie's birthday presents
Always moving
Yes, Ms. Leslie?
Rolling
She loves this little ball
Thanks Uncle Brad and Aunt Sarah
Always so happy exploring
Love those cheeks!!
Checking out the book
Looks like she was caught on the move
Showing off her green donut ring
Elliana has continued to perfect her army crawl, and has become quite speedy.  It still is not really all that pretty, but it certainly gets her where she needs or wants to be.
Trying out the avocados
Starting exploring a sippy ... loves to chew on the handles
Holding her own bottle
Chewing on a celery stick
Smiling through bananas
Helping Mama make a cheesecake is hard work
Mum Mums for the win!
Elliana has increased her palate this month and has tried, avocado, bananas, apples, green beans, carrots.  She progressively is getting better at eating, and although, we took a bit of a hiatus while she was sick, the last couple of days, she has been doing great.  She also has mastered the puffs and Mum Mums.
Someone was upset Mama took the sticker paper away
Loves playing with sis's dollhouse furniture
And sometimes tries to "live" in there
This month Ellie bug has started really caring if you take something away from her.  She doesn't really care what she has, as long as it is something.  We have tried to enforce that rule with K, that if she wants something that Ellie has, she must give her something else to play with when taking it away.  Yea!  That rule is good in theory. :)
Sis came to save the day after the sticker paper incident
Love the progression of these three photos - always watching K
Goobers
The first time Ellie got to join big sis in the bathtub
These two ...
K loves when Ellie joins her in the tent
I don't know who likes Ellie's new toy more
Definition of these two:
K = stinker, Ellie = always on the move
Kherington wanted to change Ellie's diaper.  Silly goose
These two.  They are the best of friends.  I LOVE watching their sister bond grow and form.
