10 months .... better late than never

I am obviously about 2 weeks late in updating the blog.  I'm surprised I haven't started receiving hate mail. :)  Not only do our photo sessions become increasingly more difficult, updating the blog does as well.  My computer is from college and with all the pictures on here, it is ever so slow.  Not an excuse, just saying.
Love those bright little eyes
The last month has been an exciting month.  Our little princess continues to change daily, learning and doing more things, some good and others not so much.  Crawling has added another layer of complexity to our lives for sure.
Is Sally outside?
I'm supposed to do something with these legs
The dishwasher is one of my favorite things
Such a happy girl helping Mama with dishes
Crawling was convenient to get to the tree
At 10 months she weighed 18.5 lbs and was 28.25 inches long.
Such a big girl
We had a wonderful Christmas.  Living back in Indiana, made it a little less stressful, and allowed us to spend more time with everyone.  In addition, just before Christmas, Jared locked the door in Pennsylvania for the last time and moved to Indiana to live with us!  Kherington liked opening presents.  She was move enthralled with the paper than what was in the boxes, but that was okay.

Bows were another favorite
Hey, I got a hippo!

Thanks Grandma and Pops for my lamb hat
Daddy likes my hippo stacker too
Caterpillars sure are tasty

We are going to have some major re-training to do
We have continued to try new foods.  It is hard to believe our little girl eats SO much during the day.  For example, yesterday she ate for breakfast 2 oz of pineapple that we sent to school, graham crackers which was the morning snack, then 6.5 oz of milk.  Then for lunch she had 2 pieces of pizza, carrots and oranges in addition to another 4.5 oz of milk.  Then her afternoon snack was veggie straws, topped off by a 4.5 oz bottle.  What a little piggie!!

Despite this face, she really likes oranges
The remnants from a corn bread muffin
Nana and K with a great teether - a stalk of celery
We learned that babies should not have corn.  They gave her some at school for lunch and boy did it cause problems.  This led to me going to Kroger at 2 am one morning to buy prune juice.  You sure get some funny looks buying prune juice at 2 am.

Our little Tylenol addict
We've gained some new teeth.  I guess singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth," paid off.  Finally K's top front teeth came through.  Her poor little gums have been so swollen for so long.
"Blizzard" 2012
Kherington had her 9 month appointment.  We were supposed to have it the day after Christmas, but it got cancelled because of the "blizzard," so Daddy took K while Mom was in Puerto Rico for work.  She was in the 24th percentile for weight at 17 lbs and 12.8 oz, and was in the 24th percentile for height at 27 inches (although I think she was measured wrong), and her head circumference was in the 91st percentile at 46 cm.

Kherington went to visit Ed and Nancy (our first neighbors growing up)
Kherington really liked Faith's little car

Singing and beating the pacifier on the table
Kherington has her first friend at school, Mara.  K and Mara are two of the oldest now in the room, so they are the troublemakers.  Ms. Leslie said they go around to all the babies and steal their pacifiers.  They also enjoy playing hide and seek together around the table.
Surprised we have friends with such crazy hair
Ultimate bed head - we were dying laughing!
"Since Sally doesn't play with her toys, I will"
School wears us out
Taking a nap in Nana's bed (with our Giraffe lovie)

Once again our bear photoshoot was challenging.  But here is what we captured.
