| Love this ... such the typical Ellie |
Elliana is growing and changing each day. And with each day we are reminded of what a blessing she simply is. She really is such an amazing little lady.
| Don't mind my Christmas/winter onesie |
| One of my favorite outfits |
| Look at her little belly |
Sporting an extra outfit
4 out of 5 days we end up in a spare outfit |
She is wearing 6-9 month clothes, but we will be switching her over to 9-12 month clothes. She is solidly in size 3 diapers for day {which we will be switching to size 4 soon} and in size 4 diapers for night time.
| This girl loves to eat |
| Sis at 1 year for size comparison |
Ellie bug weighs 19 lbs, 3.5 oz and is 28 inches tall {which is crazy as it is almost exactly K's one year stats}.
| Busy eating away |
| We haven't found anything that she won't or can't eat |
| Yummy |
| Chicken quesadillas and oranges |
| Such a happy girl |
| Debating what to try first |
| Happy girl |
| Messy girl eating some tacos |
| I don't think it is possible to love her more |
She has embraced having those three teeth this month and have really eaten up a storm. I feel as though we almost skipped baby food with her, as she loves people food. She will not bat an eye at devouring a slice of pizza or chicken quesadillas.
| Roar! |
| Always open mouth smiling |
| Hi! |
| Chewing away on a frozen teether |
Speaking of teeth, Ellie gave her top left front tooth this month with the top front right one right behind it. It looks as though her eye teeth and the next two on the bottom are well on their way as well. Poor little girl.
| Picking a book to read |
| Sis loves to "read" to me |
| I love looking at books too |
Despite being a little cranky from her teeth, she is overall a very happy and healthy little girl. She will be visiting the doctor for her 9 month check-up and shots on April 3rd, as it got postponed with doctors schedules. I think she is doing well but am always anxious to hear what the doctor thinks.

| Army crawling |
| "Who me?" |
| Playing with Nemo |
| Mid-crawl |
| Checking to make sure there aren't any crumbs under here |
| Trying to capture the up on hands and knees |
| Crawling with Cole |
| I think this was a smile |
| She is going to have some strong shoulders with all this army crawling |
| Hands and Knees |
She is a mover for sure. She is an absolute pro at arming crawling and is learning to really crawl on her hands and knees as well. She army crawls about 95% of the time. It cracks me up when she gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. I really thought she would skip actual crawling {and I guess she still might} but it seems to be a hard-wired thing.
| Watching Cole stand and trying to learn |
| Mid practice |
| Such determination |
| "I'm outta here!" |
| Until sis saw me |
| Such a big girl practicing her standing in the pit |
She also has begun pulling herself up. Which is a good reminder that we need to lower her mattress. No one wants a baby falling out of their crib on their head!
| When she is tired, she is cranky |
| But otherwise is so incredibly happy |
I just wish time would slow down and she would stay little. I think I appreciate Ellie at this age more than I did with Kherington {or perhaps I have just slept and not slept a lot since then} because of K and her sassy-ness currently. Ellie truly is such a happy baby, only fussing when she is tired or hungry and the world really is her oyster.
| She loves to clap |
| And she loves to hear "Yea, Ellie" |
| Such a stinker |
| She'll pause for cheering |
| Trouble maker getting herself stuck under the chair |
| Photoshoots have entered the "danger to our safety" stage now |
She loves for you to say "Yea, Ellie" as she goes from crawling to sitting up. She "Hitler" arm loves to pat you on the arm or back if you aren't paying attention or facing her. She loves yanking K's hair. She has started to scrunchy nose smile, showing off those pearly whites. And she still loves finding things she is not supposed to have or do and getting herself in "trouble."
| Playtime with Nana |
| Smooshed like sardines in here |
| Singing to sis |
| These two melt my heart |
| Valentine's Day love |
| It appears to be choking but it was just "help" with the photoshoot |
| Two seconds of distraction |
| Absolutely smitten still |
Another note worth mentioning is...I was able to donate milk this month. I traveled to San Antonio for our national kick-off meeting. Due to being "voluntold" for the planning committee for this 850 person meeting, I ended up being there for 8 days. I decided that 1) I didn't want to have to mess with/pay for shipping milk back, 2) I hate travelling with frozen milk as you are on a strict time schedule {which ended up benig a blessing as we sat on the runway for 3+ hours waiting to be de-iced at DFW} and 3) I have been very blessed and really did not need more milk in my freezer. A friend of mine at work had told me about a Facebook group, Human Milk for Human Babies. They have a page for each state, so I looked up Texas and found a lady that was in need in San Antonio. I donated the first five days worth and ended up giving her over 200 ounces for her little one. It was nice to feel like I did something worthwhile and helped another Mama out!
| Too cute |
| How can you resist an outfit with baby elbow patches? |
| Ellie's valentines |
| Ellie's valentine to Mama and Daddy |
Ellie bug got to celebrate her first Valentine's Day. She sported the cutest little outfit equipped with heart elbow patches - I couldn't resist. She had valentines for her teachers like big sis. She gave Minnie valentine's for all of her friends as well.
| How is a girl to choose? |
| Baby madness |
| Ms. Traci singing and dancing with E |
| Someone was funny |
| Patting a turtle |
| Practicing her reading skills |
Identifying her own artwork
This lesson makes me chuckle |
| Fish rattle in the MamaRoo |
| Such a little reader |
| She is so beautiful |
| Don't get any ideas about soccer Miss |
| Such a ham |
| Shaking the book |
| Art time |
| Messy! |
| Pointing to the puppies |
| Buggy ride |
| Maybe she will musically inclined? |
| Seriously, it is impossible to keep socks on this kid |
| See...no socks |
| At least she is happy and is warm-blooded |
| Art time |
| Learning with friends |
| Henrik's monster feet were very intriguing |
| Can you tell she likes to eat? :) |
| Where's Ellie? |
| Making music with Hayden |
| Or maybe just fighting over the keyboard |
She loves school and always loves going to her teachers in the morning. She is always the happiest girl in the afternoon when I pick her up. That is until she has to get into the carseat. Which is worth noting, she is still in the pumpkin seat. Purely for Mama's convenience. I really am looking forward to it warming up so we can move her up to the stage two carseat. Someone is getting a little heavy to lug around in that 11 pound carseat. Although 30 pounds of carrying is a good workout!
| Love you sweet girl |
