| Not sure I've ever seen a cucumber this size before |

| 31 weeks with K for comparison |
Total Weight Gain: As of yesterday, I am at 19 pounds, which seems to be more than I had gained with K at this point, but baby appears to be healthy, and I am healthy, so I'm not going to complain. I looked back to see if I had documented that in the blog from last time, but no such luck
Maternity Clothes: Still in them!
Sleep: It is okay, but am starting to have some really, really weird dreams. Heartburn has increased at night and getting up to go potty isn't all that uncommon. But given where we are in the pregnancy, I'd say, not so bad. I feel like I was not sleeping this well with K at this point, but who knows. Time makes you forget.
Best Moment of the Week: Hearing that sweet heartbeat at my doctor's appointment (still 120 -130 bpm) and having Jared and K meet Jenny - our doula! And as a belated update, I passed my glucose test!!
Worst Moment of the Week: Chasing the darn, stupid, overweight, {many expletives} dog when she escaped. Some very nice gentlemen came on Monday to mulch and edge our flowerbeds. In the process, they must have not gotten the gate closed all the way. Meanwhile, K and I get home and are going to the park, so I let Berlin out of her crate {she's lost privileges to be free during the day due to destructiveness} and turned her out into the backyard. K and I get all the necessities {and a few other things} to go to the park and head to the garage. I hear a commotion in the street and look out to see our new neighbors, their three dogs, and Berlin trying to attack their dogs in the street. I immediately ran out into the street, yelling at Berlin to sit. She stops trying to attack and takes off down the street. So I instinctively took off after her. Once beside our neighbors house, I think, "Oh my goodness, my child is alone in the garage." Our neighbors, complete strangers, mind you, offer to stay with her. Luckily Berlin is fat and older which caused her to be slower than in the past, and she was dumb for my luck's sake and fell for the "treat, you want some?" trick. I proceed to drag her home and repeatedly apologize/thank our new neighbors. What an introduction!
Movement: This child! I am preparing myself for it's temperament on the outside, because if it's anything like what it feels like, it is going to be crazy! It has had an affinity for my ribs and diaphragm this week! Although, Dr. N thinks this baby is going to be mellow, for what that's worth!
Food Cravings: Nothing really. I am usually starving in the mornings, am hungry at lunch and am never really hungry at night, so most of the time it is a bowl of cereal for dinner!
Food Aversions: Nothing really.
Symptoms: Heartburn, hip pain {intensified by chasing the dog, mind you}, left foot pain {may or may not be related - I am blaming relaxin though}, Braxton Hicks.
Gender: It's a boy or a girl! Kherington has been saying she wants pink or a sister this week. Jared says he is betting with K, that it is a girl. Dr. N told me yesterday she is guessing boy. And I remain undecided, but if you made me bet, I'd say boy.
Names: Elliana Hope or Cayden Michael {I think we are settled on Cayden, but have decided to change the i to a y}
Labor Signs: Just the occasional Braxton Hicks and some pelvic pressure, but overall we are still hanging on strong. Hopefully for at least a few more weeks. I still feel like this baby is going to come early, but I guess we shall see! I am measuring right on track, so I could be wrong.
Belly Button: Syonara, Adios, Toodles, Hasta la Vista, Ciao, Au Revoir .... Goodbye. I hope to see you again in 9 weeks or so! I'd just like to say pregnant belly buttons are so gross!! I guess the good thing is I haven't developed "the line" {linea nigra} on my belly....yet!
What I Miss: Having energy and any sorts of a memory - Mommy Brain has taken its full toll I believe.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Continuing on with my bi-monthly appointments, and starting maternity leave May 8th!! Only five more weeks. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it ............
