Natural childbirth is painful, but SO very worth it.
Fourteen inch head circumference and a 7 lb, 7 oz baby really feels much bigger than she looks.
Modesty does really go out the window once you birth a child.
Your heart really does expand when you bring a child into the world. I didn't know that I was capable of loving so much.
Berlin is such a good big "sister." As much as I worried about her with the baby, it was all for nothing. She loves giving kisses. Memphis on the other hand, I'm not sure he's even realized there is another being in our home now. He is just happy the nursery door is open so he can sleep under the crib.
I love being able to reach my toes (comfortably) again!
Have all your supplies ready before opening a diaper - you never know what you will encounter.
I have the absolute most wonderful husband on the planet. What an amazing man I am blessed to have in my life, and Kherington is so lucky to have such a great daddy.
Sleep is not overrated. We are blessed with a good sleeper, at least for the time being.
Skype has been awesome at keeping in touch and sharing our little bundle of joy.
Walking with the dog and now the stroller is going to take some getting used to. Also, must remember to use the brake!
Our house will never be the same. Not only has baby things taken over, but the housework has went by the wayside. Someday we'll get back to have a clean, straight house - 18 years from now, maybe?
Worrying has almost become like breathing. Never underestimate the worry potential of a parent.
Lullabies from the sound machine can only be tolerated so many times, before wanting to throw it against a wall.
Everyone has an opinion, and they're all different. For example, what to do with her belly button: 1) nothing, 2) wipe with alcohol once a day, 3) drip some alcohol on it once a day, 4) wash with soap and water.

I never knew that I would appreciate a five minute shower so much.
Never say never. When you baby cries for hours straight, you'll try anything to calm her down.
Kherington may have gotten her attitude and patience (or lack thereof) from her mom. ;)
Pandora lullabies station has been a life saver - Miss K sure loves her music!
I could watch Kherington sleep all day every day. Her little facial expressions are precious. All the different little sounds she makes as she sleeps. I love when she startles herself and throws her arms up in the air. I just wonder what she dreams about. (Her daddy thinks it's toads. He mentioned this the other day and I've teased him ever since)
Mom's of multiples - God bless you. I cannot imagine having more than one baby to take care of at once.
Little girl clothes (and accessories) are just too darn cute! And this little girl already has a closet full of adorable clothes. I can only imagine what it will be like in the future!
Once a little one arrives, you are no longer in charge. Even if you plan on after the 8 o'clock feeding you are going to bed, it may end up being more like 2 am.
Kherington has an amazing family. Her grandparents were awesome while we were at the hospital and after we came home. I can't wait for her to meet the rest of her family.
I would do absolutely humanly possible for this tiny little person that we were blessed with. I would travel to the moon and back or walk a thousand miles if she needed me to.
Going back to work is going to be SO hard. I can totally see why stay at home mom's choose to stay home. How blessed are they!
We are so thankful to the good Lord for giving us such a perfect little angel.
Being a mom is the most rewarding and challenging thing I will ever do. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you Kherington Faye, more than life itself!
